Founded in 1950, the Beijing Returned
Overseas Chinese Federation
is the first provincial-level organization composed of the returned overseas
Chinese living and working in Beijing to link the government with the overseas
Chinese both at home and broad.
Highly holding the banner of patriotism, and strictly following the Constitution
of China Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, the Beijing Returned Overseas
Chinese Federation actively and independently devotes itself to protecting
the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese both at home and
abroad. Through all the channels it unites the overseas Chinese to make
contributions in the realization of a well-off society of China, in the
basic realization of modernization of Beijing, in the promotion of peaceful
reunification of China, in the dissemination of Chinese culture, and in
the friendly communications with the people of the world.
